Persistent Repetition

persistent repetition..

What do you feel is the secret to anybody’s success?

There are many factors but one that does stand out is persistence.

I read the work of an accomplished Japanese author — Haruki Murakami. He is a marathoner novelist while some people also call him a novelist marathoner!

The gentleman has run dozens of marathons and has published dozens of best selling books! Isn’t that incredible? Of late, I have developed more respect towards the authors — some of you know the reason. I had published a book Be Your Bossin June’20 which went on to become an Amazon #1 Best Seller in US and India.

What is the secret to his success? He calls it persistent repetition — keep doing the work despite all odds.

Murakami mentions in his book that he runs pretty well in the first half of the marathon, but somehow starts running out of fuel as he approaches the last leg. It is his sheer determination and persistence which sees him through — he’s practiced long enough as he’s been running marathons for nearly 2 decades. The same tenacity is visible in his other role as an author.

Life is all about going through the process.

You too are a champion.

You too have what it takes to be a success in your field. You just need to keep doing it again, and again, and again..
