Exactly 24 years!

I was in Pune for some work this Tuesday.

Navneet and I met for the first time after having graduated from IIM Indore in 2001.

Navneet is an engineer MBA, married to another engineer. His wife was in a job for many years and then decided to master our ancient healing practices to serve humanity.

The lady is one of the top practitioners in her field today. 

She attended a one year residential program at an ashram in 2022 – a rigorous program with no contact with the outside world for a year.

Yes you read it right – no contact with the outside world for a year!

She felt proud of her family – a very supportive husband and her 2 girls who encouraged her to pursue her calling (one of the girls was in Class 12 at that time, when most Indian parents get paranoid about the future of their child).

I could see a soft smile of acknowledgement in Navneet and both the girls.

I was treated to a special Punjabi dinner with extra spices.. 

We had a great time as we discussed AI and the future of our kids!

It was time for my return flight and I bid goodbye to both the girls and complimented the lady on her work as I got up to leave. 

I was happy to see the change in our family ecosystem – together as a unit yet respecting the individuality of the other person.

Behind every successful man/ woman, there is a new age Bharitya family!
